The Russians had a knack for building great ground attack aircraft, and the Pe-2 was no exception. Throughout the war the Pe-2 was continually updated, keeping it on the front lines from 1941 to 1945. Over 11,000 were eventually built.</div> <bR> <div> Designers notes:</div> <bR> <div>         - Airfile made by 1% 2.6 assembly line. Information on this aircraft has been hard to find so all of its flight characteristics may not be accurate. I may update the airfile since new 1% versions may help fill in the missing data.</div> <div>        </div> <div>        - although the real Pe-2 had automatic dive brakes i made them manually controlled so they would be animated along with the bomb bay doors.</div> <bR> <div>        - The interior and panel are rather crude because i had no pictures or info on these.</div> <bR> <div>        - The Pe-2 could be a tricky to fly. Many beginning pilots lost their lives learning to fly it. </div> <bR> <div>        - The 2 rearward machine guns are operated by the cannon trigger so you can save ammo.
